5-6 weeks Pedagogy Practicum Seminar: Each class lasts 75-90 minutes. These classes are offered through the MTAC Santa Clara County Branch during the Fall, Sept-Oct. Please see the blog post for the class content announcement.
  • Focus on specific topics and levels (Beginner, Elementary, Early Intermediate, etc.) that address teaching concerns and performance practice. 
  • Perfect for busy teachers to gain further insights and ask personal questions

Piano Pedagogy Class Curriculum:  Encompass four semesters of sequential study modeled after undergraduate piano pedagogy degree
  • Examine and evaluate methods and teaching materials (Orff, Suzuki, Methods books, Curriculums etc.)
  • Understanding teaching approaches from elementary to advanced levels
  • Study the art of teaching (all style periods, technique, practice, memorizing)
  • Independent studio business
  • Incorporate technology in teaching
  • Musician Wellness
  • Observe selected independent and university teachers’ instructions

A Workshop is a 60 minutes session/lesson. Pedagogy Curriculum is offered as a semester-long class, including summer. It can be designed to fit individual's needs and offered as a lesson format as well.
